VAT refund

When will I receive a refund of VAT as a customer? Our customers are asking us this question more and more often. That is why we have taken this matter into consideration and have written a guide that will help you to understand what steps are necessary to get your VAT refunded.

First of all, we list a few basic points that are absolutely necessary in order to be eligible for a refund. These include placing an order which is delivered to a country within the EU and for which the export is verified. Furthermore, the period between purchase (invoice date) and export of the goods must not be longer than 3 months apart.

Order in the online shop

You buy your goods via our online shop www.voltus.de . Important here is that the delivery address must be an EU country, whereas the billing address can be a third country.

Pay for yours goods

You pay for the ordered goods.

Fill in your document

You fill out this document .

Send document per mail

Then you scan the completed document and send it to [email protected] stating your order number.

We will contact you

We will now countersign the document and return it to you.

Customs duty

Once you have received the countersigned document, you present it and the invoice for the order to customs authority. There you will have both stamped.

Send your documents to Voltus.

Then send us the two original documents by post to Voltus GmbH, Loog 7, 23611 Bad Schwartau, Germany.

We check the documents

As soon as we have received the documents, we will check them. This usually takes about 2 weeks.

The refund.

After successful verification you will receive your VAT refund. It is important that you provide us with your bank details (IBAN and BIC).

Futher more we will raise a fee about 15,00 € per invoice to cover the cost of the work.
